Near on two months ago, all of the websites that were associated with this one went down. My former host had decided to cancel my account and deleted all of my data. It’s taken far too long but I’ve finally got the domain back, reinstalled WP and the HTML of my site. Things are finally running again.
I’ve been working with the team at Punchcast to redevelop our core product and we’re doing some really exciting things! Hopefully in the next few months we’ll be releasing a completely new product and service that will have all of my friends as excited as I am right now. It’s going to be great!
Training has been steadily improving at Shift. The club has had a rocky start this year, but that was to be expected. We didn’t have a dedicated training location and regular participation numbers were down but we’re seeing more and more people out these days. Our next big race is the 24hr team event in Montreal at the beginning of September and we hope to field a strong team comprised of Shift and international skaters. Shift has seen the growth and success of a few of our athletes including 2012 National Champion, Jesse Pauley and Shannon Hegartys strong results at Outdoor competitions and Nationals this year. The best is yet to come!
We have ordered the Shift Racing skinsuits and I’m working on getting the club website back online.
I’ve started training again. Last week was my first week of training on the bike (some 170km) and there is a long road ahead of me. I’ll start putting my skates on in a few weeks once I’ve had a chance to get my fitness up a bit on the bike. I’m looking forward to spending lots of time on my skates and in the gym over the winter.
I’ve done a bit of freelance work, not much, so I have to update my portfolio at some point too.
Thats all for now!
